Wooden Walls, Ceilings - ARROW WOOD
Besides wooden floors, using real wood for ceilings is another way to enhance the natural ambiance of a room. Real wood has beautiful patterns and colors, making the room more charming and visually appealing.
In the past, wooden ceilings were very popular because there were not as many synthetic materials available as there are today. Real wood was considered an easily accessible and inexpensive material, so it was commonly used for ceilings for beauty and durability.

Wooden ceilings have long been a popular decorative material due to their distinctive properties in helping to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere indoors. They are suitable for use in commercial buildings such as hotels, restaurants, shops, etc.
Currently, the most popular type of wooden ceiling is the engineered wood ceiling, which is real wood processed to have a uniform thickness and is easy to install. Engineered wood ceilings can be installed on gypsum boards with wooden battens to enhance beauty and make the ceiling appear lighter and more comfortable.
The most convenient way to install a wooden ceiling is to install it on wooden joists. The wooden joists should be 4-5 centimeters wide and at least 10 millimeters thick. Install wooden joists every 30 centimeters, securing them to the walls or ceiling with glue and screws.
This method will make the wooden joists bear all the weight, and the wooden ceiling will be attached to the wooden joists with pneumatic nails driven into the tongue at a 45-degree angle.

There are 2 main types of wood ceiling coating agents:
- Oil : Coated to make the wood look natural, soft to the touch, resistant to heat and humidity, but needs frequent reapplication.
- Lacquer : Coated to make the wood look shiny and scratch-resistant, but makes the wood look different from nature.
Choosing engineered wood ceilings
Engineered wood ceilings have a thickness of 2+12mm or 2+10mm, secured with Sika concrete adhesive or PU adhesive, depending on the size and complexity of the work.
Edging
The side edges can be finished with 25x8mm molding for aesthetics and termite protection.
